To go beyond traditional personalization, Decathlon France sought to enrich its digital strategy by integrating real-time contextual data. In 2024, the team leveraged weather data to dynamically adapt product displays and visuals according to local conditions.
Using Reelevant, Decathlon designed graphically aligned and weather-specific content experiences across its digital touchpoints. Depending on whether it was raining, cold, or cloudy, visitors were presented with tailored products and inspiring slogans such as “Defy weather, enjoy sport,” “The cold, your new breath,” “Move to the rhythm of the rain,” and “Move your head among the clouds.”
